Museum at (Our Place): DISplace
“Dis place” is a Hawaiian pidgin translation of “this place.” It is also a reminder of the challenges faced by communities as they navigate displacement from their original homelands. – Kanani Miyamoto & Lehuauakea
Museum at (Our Place) Kits include 10 yard signs with QR codes to learn more about the artwork and images. The DISplace M(OP) kit pairs perfectly with the learning materials, including 6 artworks and historic and contemporary images of the communities that flow between Hawai’i and the Pacific Northwest.
