Fernando Méndez Corona estudió pintura en el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes de México en Mexicali antes de especializarse en la figura humana en Pratt, en Seattle. Ha expuesto a través de Estados Unidos y recientemente ha completado murales en Costa Rica, Berlín, Nuevo México, Mexicali y Tijuana, entre otros lugares. Junto con Marco Vera es uno de los dos arquitectos del movimiento Mexicali Rose.

Fernando Méndez Corona studied painting at Mexico’s National Institute for Fine Arts in Mexicali before specializing in the human figure at Pratt in Seattle. He has exhibited throughout North America, and has recently completed murals in Costa Rica, Berlin, New Mexico, Mexicali, and Tijuana, among other places. Along with Marco Vera, he is one of the two architects of the Mexicali Rose movement.
