In conjunction with the museum’s 2018-2019 exhibit, AgriCulture: Shaping Land & Lives in the Tualatin Valley, and Semana de la Raza at Portland Community College Rock Creek, the museum presented a panel conversation with esteemed community members Evangelina Sanchez, Hector Hinojosa, and José Jaime and moderated by PCC Rock Creek President, Dr. Chris Villa. The conversation explored connections between personal experiences, community building, and agriculture in Washington County.
This event took place on April 26, 2019 while Five Oaks Museum was known by its former name, Washington County Museum.
