Artist Liberty Morey tookover the Five Oaks Museum Instagram account from July 6-11, which culminated in a livestreamed zine-making workshop.

Liberty Morey (they/them and he/him) is a queer interdisciplinary artist residing in Portland, OR. Their work draws from elements of trans identity, feminism, and capitalism in contemporary society. As Liberty writes, their “work strives to recenter personal identity as a source of strength to wield within the binary driven world. They are a proud art school drop out.”

For Gender Euphoria, Liberty hosted a zine making workshop on July 11th, which invited participants to explore personal identity, gender, and bodies through a creative lens. Liberty asked participants to respond to prompts, which they discussed with participants. He showed viewers how to fold a one page zine, discussed his process as he makes a zine, and answered questions from the audience.
